Digital Experience Library (2019)

From August 2017 until September 2019, I was a senior designer and later a project lead for State Farm’s design and development Digital Experience Library (DXL).

During my time working on the DXL team, I collaborated with business partners from various project teams to implement their design and architecture solutions into our consistently growing design system. This involved modifying existing designs to better create a repeatable solution that could be used by a large number of practitioners, as well as creating elements, components, and patterns from the ground up.

As project lead, I was responsible for holding weekly status meetings between our UX team and our product owner and product manager, as well as bi-weekly meetings with our development partners. In addition, I was tasked with redesigning the 1X/DXL homepage to better suit our practitioner’s needs.
